Glenn Bakewell has a professional career in the industry of court reporting that spans over 25 years. He has great respect for the trained professionals who capture the spoken word and the integral role our profession plays in the legal process. He’s consulted for small and mid-sized agencies across the nation, helping to improve their operations, as well as holding the General Manager position for the past seven years for a large legal services conglomerate in the New York City area. One of his ambitions was to have ownership in a little reporting company where he could diligently serve all of his clients on a first-name basis. He’s thrilled to be a partner in this agency. Born in Brooklyn, he currently resides on the north shore of Long Island and is the proud father of two grown daughters, Jackie and Alex.

Ken Sorkin previously spent 16 years at a large national court reporting firm. You’ve heard of it. His specialty has always been coming up with the goods and satisfying clients’ requests - finding a Norwegian interpreter for three days in Boston, finding a conference room in East Morris MN, finding a handwriting expert in San Francisco. Ken feels ideally suited for the court reporting business, as a main concern of his has always been prevention. He often stares off into space and wonders, ‘gee, how is my client going to get blind-sided now and what can I do to obviate it?’ He would have made a crackerjack trust and estate lawyer if his grades back in school hadn’t been so mediocre. Ken lives in the NYC area with his wife Hannah (whom you might speak with one day if you call on the phone) and their three fun-loving daughters.
